Winter 2020-2021

“Phase Two” and “Project Santa”

The Snowman Movement began “Phase Two” collection during the summer of 2020, during the height of the global pandemic. While this year has been different for us, our drive and initiative stayed the same. Snowman Movement was able to procure 20 coats for this season. These coats were donated to the Greater New Bedford Department of Children and Families (DCF). We were excited to partner with DCF to make sure the children got our wonderful coats.

We were also excited to continue our partnership with Project Santa. We partner with local daycares to make sure children got proper clothing under the Christmas Tree when they woke up on December 25th. Due to the pandemic, Project Santa was shifted to donating gift cards to families in order to adhere to state social distancing requirements. We are excited to continue our partnerships with both DCF and Project Santa in the future. We were, however, able to safely deliver small goods to children via a “candy cane shoot” thanks to Santa and his Elf.
