“Scale Up” and “Project Santa”

This season, Snowman Movement continued to build and grow on our work for over two years. Operating under strict safety protocols, the team continued to work throughout 2021 and was able to procure approximately 60 coats for children in the Greater New Bedford Area. These coats were donated to local area daycare centers and to the New Bedford Department of Children and Families (DCF). We were thrilled to partner with DCF for another year and we look forward to working with them more in the future.

Snowman Movement also continued our partnership with Project Santa for another season. “Project Santa” is a partnership between Snowman Movement and local daycares to make sure children get proper clothing and gifts under the Christmas tree. Project Santa was able to return to providing full gifts to children-in-need, and we were able to provide two children’s coats per family who were selected by the Project Santa team.

Project Santa’s Team also continued their “candy cane shoot”, something created during the height of the pandemic to deliver small gifts to children at daycares across New Bedford and Dartmouth thanks to Santa and his elf.
